Position: Marketing & Field Development Coordinator

Reports to: Executive Vice President

Salary: Salaried position, exempt

Location Clarkesville, Georgia

Start Date: Immediately

This position will be instrumental in supporting the Marketing & Field Development Departments in several key areas: National, Regional and Local marketing initiatives, external/internal communications, departmental administrative needs and special events.

Primary Job Responsibilities

·         Support National, Regional and Local PR/Marketing efforts:

o    Managing Blogger relationships and giveaway initiatives

o    Managing Public Relations contacts

o    Maintaining and executing reporting needs for professional association campaigns

o    Writing/distributing Press Releases

o    Execute Social Media strategy tasks

·         Manage day-to-day administrative needs with vendor relationships

·         Organizational support for bi-annual catalog photo shoot

·         Monthly review of current messaging to ensure consistency, accuracy and functionality

·         Member of the Special Events Team – providing support prior to, at and post event

·         Tracking management of field development programs, incentives and marketing analytics

·         Data entry for bi-annual catalog conversion

  • Update/maintain the Resources content for the field via the Ignite Site (internal website).
  • Internal management of company sponsored field development programs (Boot Camp, Incentives, etc.)
  • Set up and coordinate weekly training call meetings and agendas
  • Create various documents, worksheets, workbooks etc.

·         Administrative support to the Executive Vice President and National Field Development Director

Qualifications/Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years full-time, professional experience

·         Knowledge of direct sales, home party plan, consultant/distributor sales model from a field perspective or corporate environment a plus

Position: Communications Director

Reports to: President

Start Date: April 2012

This position serves as an integral member of the Executive Team and will be responsible for the development of the internal communication strategy, and will contribute to Initials, Inc. organizational strategic planning process. The Communications Director will develop a world-class communications plan for Initials, Inc., directly managing communications activities that promote, enhance, and protect the company’s brand reputation with our Creative Partners. The Communications Director will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership. The goal is to advance the organization’s communication position with Creative Partners, as well as to drive broader awareness and involvement for company initiatives. The Communications Director will be responsible for Initials, Inc.’s varied and integrated communications products and services including: video-based initiatives, recognition and newsletters. Also, they will provide insight and input into company publications on the web, e-news, other online communications, as well as work closely with the Field Development and Marketing Departments on media, public relations and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing, Brand Development, Sales and Field Development teams to ensure Creative Partners have the necessary tools to understand, accept and embrace programs, products, career plan, etc.  
    • Work with these teams to develop communication and education plans that complement marketing programs, product knowledge workshop materials and training.
    • Help evolve and improve programs as new information, opportunities and technologies become available.        
  • Identify needs and develop action plans for Sales Force Communication teams.
  • Develop high-impact communications and projects that are often the result of a change in direction and/or new systems, processes, etc.         
  • Oversee all Creative Partner communication initiatives including, recognition, incentive programs, product launches, newsletters, etc..
  • Develop and implements an integrated internal strategic communications plan to advance Initials, Inc.’s brand identity with its Creative Partners; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs among the field of consultants.
  • Work with Executive Team and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the communications function including budgeting, planning and staff development
  • Recruit and manage a communications team to support the development and execution of the communications strategy
  • Serve as corporate contact with the Direct Selling Association.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management position
  • Extensive successful writing and development experience (internally focused) with a variety of print and online communications media
  • Demonstrates experience and leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications program
  • Creative and thoughtful on how new media technologies can be utilized to achieve desired results
  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
  • Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of professionals
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Data entry related to order fulfillment systems, pricing levels, order types, etc.
  • Data entry related to Hostess Rewards, Shopportunities, Smart Start, Starter Kits, etc.
  • Manage and create reports and support for sales, accounting, and production departments.
  • Manage Events and registration process through PPS third party application.
  • Coordinate and manage trouble tickets and customizations of PPS application and internal requests.
  • Update and manage websites and content for marketing and sales communications as well as order fulfillment systems.
  • Manage and maintain consistency of leads process in PPS application
  • Support and management of interfaces between PPS application and production automation software.
